What is PSEO?

Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) allows 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to earn both high school and college credit by completing college-level, nonsectarian courses at eligible colleges or universities.

Most PSEO courses are held on college campuses, though some are available online.

Who Can Enroll?

  • 11th and 12th graders: Full-time or part-time.
  • 10th graders: One career/technical course to start. If they earn a grade of C or better, they may take more.

Costs

PSEO students do not pay tuition, fees, or required books. Financial help is available for transportation to campuses if students qualify.

Important Deadlines

  • Schools must inform students in grades 8–11 and their families by March 1 each year.
  • Students must notify their school by May 30 to join PSEO for the next school year.
