Xavier and Bob were best friends, they always hung out around the small lake they had in the middle of the park, or climb the trees surrounding it, and then one day they saw a Platypus on the edge of the small lake, and it looked like it’s tail was ripped a little bit.They didn’t think that a platypus could really get its tail ripped of all things, but when they thought they might be able to bring it into the vet so that they could help him they went over and Bob picked it up looking rather pleased with himself when he noticed a spur on one of its hind legs.
“Xavier, did you know that these guys have a spur on the back of their hind legs?” Bob said in a little bit of wonder, and then Xavier remembered learning in science class about the spur on the back of a platypus, it emitted excruciating pain if you were stung, even though it is not lethal to humans it will hurt a lot if he was stung by it and if he knew Bob, which he did, he didn’t handle pain as well as most people.
“Bob put it down it might sting you!” Xavier screamed while running over there. It took just a moment for Bob to drop it as fast as he could once he processed the message, but that’s all the platypus needed, and when he did drop, while it while fell down it used it’s ripped tail to change the direction of its body and got him with the spur. Xavier just got over to his friend before falling into the small lake, when he grabbed hold of one of his arms he felt a prick on the bottom of his leg, and then a pain he couldn’t of imagined, but then he couldn’t, but he also didn’t know where he was. All he did know however was that Bob was safe right beside him, but for some reason still screaming.
He looked around, he had never even dreamed of a place like this.

And the platypus must be wearing pants because... we were in some sort of dark place but you could see out of the top. Then , the fun candy canes and gumdrops seemed to be getting darker.The candy caned were sharper than a blade. The gumdrops weren't bright neon colors. They were black. It was getting scarier and even darker when something loud was coming towards us..... |
